I had the opportunity to be part of an event planning team for the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids, IA. Our client, Pam Hinman is the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Eastern Iowa Airport. On June 1, 2023 a direct flight began from the Eastern Iowa Airport to the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington D.C. Our task was to plan a flight launch party to spread the word to University of Iowa faculty and staff.

This reports details a promotional campaign project focused on the Béis Convertible Weekender Bag. Béis, known for its stylish yet practical travel products, offers the Convertible Weekender Bag, which is ideal for college students who frequently travel. The campaign, titled "Race to the Weekend," aims to showcase the bag’s spaciousness and unique features through a series of competitive packing events on college campuses. The event will take place in high-traffic outdoor areas, where students will be encouraged to pack as many items as possible into the bag within a time limit. Winners receive various prizes, including the bag itself. The project includes collaboration with Target for supplies and emphasizes social media engagement to boost brand awareness and sales. The campaign's design considers practical logistics, audience engagement, and effective use of social media to ensure the event's success and the product's appeal to the target demographic of young, travel-minded college students.
